Mod-Land Extended Warranty Terms

Thank you for choosing Mod-Land. These Extended Warranty Terms explain the additional warranty protection available for eligible Mod-Land products when an extended warranty plan is purchased together with the covered product.

The extended warranty is designed to provide additional support for covered defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. It is an optional service add-on and does not replace, limit, or reduce any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Eligible Products

Extended warranty protection applies only to eligible Mod-Land products that are clearly offered with an extended warranty option at the time of purchase. Eligible product categories may include, but are not limited to:

• Bathroom vanities
• Bathroom faucets
• Shower systems
• Outdoor showers
• Kitchen sinks and related fixtures
• LED mirrors and medicine cabinets
• Other eligible Mod-Land products where the extended warranty option is displayed

If a product page does not display an extended warranty option, that product may not be eligible for extended warranty coverage unless confirmed in writing by Mod-Land.

2. How the Extended Warranty Works

• The extended warranty must be purchased with the eligible product in the same order, unless otherwise approved by Mod-Land in writing.
• The extended warranty applies only to the specific product associated with the warranty purchase.
• The extended warranty is a service add-on and does not ship as a physical product.
• Proof of purchase is required before any warranty service can be reviewed or approved.
• The extended warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

3. Coverage Period

The extended warranty provides additional limited warranty coverage for the period stated on the extended warranty product page or at checkout. The coverage period starts from the original product delivery date, unless otherwise stated in writing by Mod-Land.

If the covered product already includes a standard limited warranty, the extended warranty is intended to add protection beyond the applicable standard coverage period, subject to these terms.

4. What Is Covered

During the applicable coverage period, Mod-Land may provide support for covered defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal use, installation, and maintenance conditions.

Depending on the product type and the nature of the issue, warranty support may include one or more of the following solutions:

• Replacement parts
• Product repair guidance
• Product replacement
• A reasonable alternative solution determined by Mod-Land after review

The final remedy will be determined by Mod-Land based on the product condition, available replacement parts, product availability, purchase records, photos, videos, and other relevant information.

5. What Is Not Covered

The extended warranty does not cover damage, defects, costs, or issues caused by or related to:

• Improper installation, incorrect assembly, or failure to follow installation instructions
• Misuse, abuse, neglect, impact, accident, or unauthorized modification
• Normal wear and tear, cosmetic scratches, dents, discoloration, fading, or finish changes that do not affect product function
• Improper cleaning methods, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or failure to follow care instructions
• Water quality issues, mineral buildup, hard water deposits, corrosion caused by improper maintenance, or environmental exposure beyond normal use
• Damage caused by freezing, extreme weather, outdoor exposure without proper winterization, or failure to drain outdoor fixtures where required
• Plumbing, electrical, wall, floor, countertop, cabinet, tile, or surrounding property damage
• Labor costs, installation costs, removal costs, reinstallation costs, inspection fees, contractor fees, or third-party service charges
• Products used outside their intended purpose or installed in unsuitable environments
• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, resale channels, liquidation sales, or second-hand sources
• Lost, stolen, discarded, or intentionally damaged products
• Consumable parts, accessories, batteries, light bulbs, filters, or parts intended to be replaced through normal maintenance, unless otherwise stated
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

6. Product-Specific Notes

Bathroom Vanities

Coverage may apply to eligible structural or manufacturing defects under normal indoor bathroom use. The extended warranty does not cover damage caused by standing water, excessive humidity without ventilation, improper plumbing, countertop misuse, chemical cleaners, improper wall mounting, or modifications made after delivery.

Faucets, Shower Systems, and Outdoor Showers

Coverage may apply to eligible defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. The extended warranty does not cover installation errors, water pressure issues, hard water deposits, freeze damage, improper winterization, corrosion caused by unsuitable environments, or damage from unauthorized parts or repairs.

Kitchen Sinks and Related Fixtures

Coverage may apply to eligible manufacturing defects under normal kitchen use. The extended warranty does not cover scratches, stains, dents, misuse, improper cleaning, food waste disposal damage, installation issues, or damage caused by chemicals or abrasive materials.

LED Mirrors and Medicine Cabinets

Coverage may apply to eligible manufacturing defects affecting normal product function. The extended warranty does not cover electrical issues caused by improper wiring, installation by an unqualified person, moisture intrusion from incorrect installation, impact damage, glass breakage, or cosmetic wear.

7. How to Request Warranty Service

To request warranty support, please contact Mod-Land with your order number, product name, photos or videos of the issue, and a brief description of what happened. Our team may request additional information to verify the issue and determine the appropriate solution.

8. Review and Resolution Process

After receiving your request, Mod-Land will review the submitted information. If the issue is covered, we will determine the most appropriate solution based on the product type, issue details, available parts, product availability, and warranty terms.

Mod-Land may require photos, videos, order records, serial numbers, installation details, or other documentation before approving warranty service. Products should not be returned without prior written instructions from Mod-Land.

9. Replacement Products or Parts

Replacement parts or replacement products provided under the extended warranty may be new, equivalent, or functionally comparable depending on availability. If the original product, finish, size, or model is no longer available, Mod-Land may offer a comparable alternative at its discretion.

Providing a replacement part or product does not restart or extend the original extended warranty period unless required by applicable law or confirmed by Mod-Land in writing.

10. Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mod-Land’s responsibility under the extended warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, replacement part, or other reasonable solution approved by Mod-Land. The extended warranty does not cover indirect losses, loss of use, project delays, labor fees, contractor charges, property damage, or other consequential costs.

11. Changes to These Terms

Mod-Land may update these Extended Warranty Terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your purchase are the terms available at the time of your original order, unless a later update provides you with additional benefits.
